Jacking your Ram 1500 can be dangerous and care should be taken to follow the instructions in your Owner’s Manual, especially safety considerations and designated jacking points. Generally, heavier vehicles like the Ram 1500 require a jack capable of lifting much more than two tons.
Many Ram 1500 models offer a factory-installed four-corner air suspension capable of lifting and lowering the vehicle by as much as 10 cm (4 inches). The 2021 Ram 1500 Classic Express is based on the Heritage Ram DS platform and is a basic all-round utility truck focused on the needs of business owners and entry-level truck buyers. It features heavy-duty vinyl seats, 3.6 L PentastarTM V6 VVT engine and 17-inch Aluminum Wheels.

The 2021 Ram 1500 Classic Tradesman is a work-oriented, entry-level pickup with a 3.6 L PentastarMC V6 engine and Uconnect® 3 multimedia system. The Ram 1500 Classic Express includes additional standard equipment like fog lamps, remote keyless entry and 17-inch aluminum wheels.
The bolt pattern, sometimes called the lug pattern, is the number of bolts on the hub used to attach the wheels, as well as the distance between them. It is also used to identify the bolt holes in the wheels. There are 5 bolts used to attach the Ram 1500 wheels to its hub, each 5.5-inches (139 mm) apart. So, the Ram 1500 has a bolt pattern of 5x5.5 or 5x139.
Ram’s Multi-Displacement System (MDS) is a fuel-saving technology that automatically stops sending fuel to certain cylinders under specific conditions. This effectively makes the engine displacement “smaller”, which helps reduce its fuel consumption. When more power is needed, fuel is sent to all cylinders – effectively making the engine “larger.”
The 2021 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock is based on the Heritage Ram DS platform and is a bold-looking pickup with standard 20-inch black wheels, unique bumpers and grill, Sport Hood and Uconnect® 4 multimedia system with 8.4-inch touchscreen. It features the 3.6 L PentastarTM V6 VVT engine standard, with 5.7 L HEMI® V8 available.
